Kinda does , almost like a heat shield vibration sound but not , and only happens when holding a steady rpm when under a little load , accelerate a bit or back off on throttle and it instantly goes away
What do you think it is the rear brake ?

I do
Mine did it for months. But not all 700s do this.
It's just my opinion though. It will eventually go away. I used to put it in neutral and coast down long steep hills to sneak up on fields to glass and it would do it. It's loud ass hell. Its something to consider. My friend hung out the rear door to listen for himself because he was sure my rear differential was grinding.

Tighten the sheetmetal clamps on the exhaust. Mine did this doesn't go totally away but really helps . They were not loose but a turn or so should make a difference .

Did anyone ever figure this issue out mine also has done this since day one and I’ve never been able to figure it out. I’ve tried a ton of different things to try and fix it.

I just noticed this today on my brand new 700-4. Only when I’m holding a cruise at about 3/4 throttle. Sounds like a heat shield or something vibrating.

I have this issue also on my 700-4 brand new. Going cruising speed it sounds like nuts and bolts rattling around from under by the rear. When I throttle it goes away or let off the gas it goes away just happens when cruising.

From what I’ve read I believe it’s the back brakes.

But I haven’t read any fix for it yet. Can anyone help with how you fix the break noise?

My 700-4 did that from day one, I swore something had to be wrong but never could find anything. After about 450 miles it stopped doing it all of the time and I don’t hear it that much now days. I don’t think it’s anything to be worried about. Keep riding.;)

My P700-4 does the same thing, only when light load or coast. If I let off the throttle or power it on, the sound goes away. It will also make the sound when traveling down a steep hill. I thought it may be in the differentials but both look fine and have the correct fill of gear lube. This sxs only has 130 miles on it and has had the valves adjusted at 101 miles. It is a weird sound. I’ll keep an eye on the rear brakes.

I have had my 2018 700-4 now for about 2 weeks. Got a decent deal on it since it was a new 2018 and I have this same issue. Only thing I can think of is the drive shaft angle is causing the vibration. Not a great design in my opinion. Has there been anymore resolution to this issue people have been having?
