Has anyone stripped the threads on the oil drain bolt hole? If so what was your fix?

The problem with the 700 (as opposed to most) is the long drain bolt that seems to thread into the middle case somewhere, and has an o ring supposedly designed to keep oil on one side or the other.
It seems like it'd be impossible to tap it without some disassembly, and if you could, you'd leave metal debris inside the engine. @HondaTech can maybe elaborate...

You are correct, from what I've researched, it threads into the front middle section. I was hoping to keep from having to disassemble.

Found the culprit, not really a stripped thread, but broken block. Has anyone seen this happen. 20210913 193033

The dealership stripped mine on it's first check up. They didn't tell me they had let their detailer do the oil change. When I got it home I parked it in my shop and a couple of days later I had a large puddle of oil. On the 3rd return the owner called and fessed up to what happened. The service manager was fired and they spent alot of money to make it right. Guess I was fortunate they did the right thing..

Actually I didn't over tighten, nor did I hit a rock, actually I think it was a faulty case.
