I'm looking at replacing my A-arm bushings on the new-to-me P1K5.

Much to my surprise, all anyone sells for these things is plastic bushings! Coming from the snowmobile world, the first thing we do when we get a machine with plastic A-arm bushings is throw them out and put in a set of Oilites.

I'm sure some of you are familiar with Oilite. It's an oil-impregnated bronze bushing. They'll outlast plastic by about 10x.

So my question is: Would anyone happen to have the specifications for the stock rods and bushings? I'd like to see if I can find a standard size that will work, or I may get some Oilite material and machine my own.

TIA

Easiest way would be to buy one each of the oem bushings.

Then measure them

I posted this when I first got my machine, and have since learned that my Highlifter front a-arms are apparently different in bushing sizes than stock. I'm still not exactly certain on this since I got two conflicting opinions from two different people at Highlifter...

Anyway, I have a full set of Highlifter bushings and collars coming in next week, so I'll measure them all up and report what I find, to see if I can get standard Oilites. It may or may not help those of you with other a-arms...

Interesting, and watching, I have the SATV arms and wonder if they some that fit. I know RB3 makes a set to help getting the A-arms greased better but the oil-lite bushing may help even more.

Would you still need to grease the a-arms with these? I have Zero experience with with them.

Oilites don't need greasing, but if grease is present Im sure it'll make them last even longer. My Highlifter arms have a zerk on them, so I'll certainly pump them up.

Garage products have oil impregnated UHMW bushings ... for Honda pioneer 1000 factory arms and super ATV arms and the rear hubs
That's interesting. Never heard of oil impregnated umhw. Probably not as durable as the bronze, but better than simple delrin,

Looks like the site is down for maintenance so I can’t get you the exact link. If you want the bushings for SATV a-arms, you have to call him. Also, I believe he has sold out and there may be a delay while he makes another run of them.
