Those switchbacks look like the French Creek Switchbacks. if I'm incorrect, where is that?

No Griz - yet. There have been sightings. Probably spilling over from the Cabinets.

Those switchbacks look like the French Creek Switchbacks. if I'm incorrect, where is that?

Curiously enough, the drainage we came down is called French Gulch, but it’s a completely different place than the French Creek to which (I think) you are referring - that French Creek is on the main Salmon drainage, isn’t it?
