Looking to get a plow setup for my P500. Wondering if anyone could tell me what they have used and what has worked well. Trying to keep the cost reasonable. I appreciate any input!!!

@WJB0907 Welcome to the club. There are a few decent offerings as a complete kit through KFI and Super ATV with a 66" or 60" plow respectively for the Pioneer 500. Both companies have a good customer satisfaction / service reputation. The complete kits (sans winch) are between $625 to $675 online. Some other companies get upwards of $1K.

Super ATV:
Honda Pioneer 500 Plow Pro Heavy Duty Snow Plow - Complete Kit

KFI Brand:
KFI 66" Snow Plow Kit Blade Push Tube Mount Honda 500 Pioneer 2015 2016 | eBay

Hope this helps you out, I do not have a plow myself but have had great experience with each companies other products over the years.

Thanks Jackal! And thanks for the welcome. I love the site and appreciate the input. I will check them both out. I'm wondering if 66" is a bit much for a 500

Power would not be the issue as you would just use 1st gear with either plow 60" or 66" and with it angled your talking a 52"-58" cut anyway. Traction in heavy snow could be an issues except you got a nice rack you can throw 400 pounds of salt or sand bag on and you should get plenty of traction then.

KFI 66", I also drilled extra holes turned at max angles for side walks in the neighborhood (they run 54").
Would advice do not go above 60" if you live in town, 66" is way over for my needs, I realized it when I got it :) .

I went with a 60"blade and a small kfi stealth 2500 winch. The whole set up was just over $1000. I like the looks but haven't put it to use. Thankfully?

I'm going to take my word back, now I love 66" b/c
1. it comes with rubber flap on top ( 60" and < does not )
2. faster job is done , especially when plowing along the street
3. with extra hole on both sides, the turn angle was changed from 30 to 45 degree ( see picture ), you can also compare two pics and the distance between the blade and front tire

Thanks for all the input! I ordered the entire setup this week and went with the 60" KFI. The entire setup was about $1000. The first box arrived today.

Wow that tapered blade looks great! You are making me reconsider lol. Which push tube did you use with that?

I have the same KFi push tube and KFi winch mount. Went with a champion 3000lb winch

Finally got around to installing the plow after letting it sit in my garage for 2 months. Having some problems with the KFI winch. I have it all hooked up and wired but when I press the button on the controller, the connector clicks but the winch doesn't activate. Anyone have any ideas?

Check the side of the winch. There should be a [yellow maybe] knob which if it is turned, unlocks the winch so you can pull out the cable by hand. I would try turning it. If it's unlocked, the winch can't be operated with the switch.
