Ok folks. My P700-4 died on me yesterday. While riding down the road it shut down like it was out of gas. Then it cranked again but went dead quickly. I noticed my EPS light is on now. It will turn over but won’t crank. Any suggestion is appreciated.

First guess.....
EPS is your power steering. key word = power.
Sounds like you have lost voltage to part of the machine.
You indicated that it turns over, so your battery isn't dead. Check your voltage just to be sure.

You don't want to know what my next guess is.

On my volt meter it’s reading 12.1. Sounds like another trip to the shop

question is how old is the bike? i know within the first 200 miles ,sometimes but not all bikes it does a weird thing where it acts like that. try removing battery cables for a few minutes then try cranking.

2017. Tried disconnecting battery cables with no luck. Still turns over but will not crank. I wonder if it’s getting gas.

Pull a spark plug. turn it over and see if it has spark.
If it has spark, remove the air filter and spray some starter fluid in. (I bet it will crank)

Well got out there today and the buggy cranked for about 1 second. It did this several times. When I would press the gas pedal, it would go dead. Definitely bringing to the shop. Also I have a dual battery setup. Now my winch isn’t working.

So EPS had nothing to do with it correct?
On my 18' 700 deluxe the EPS light comes on when I turn on the key. Goes out when it starts.
Probably a self check type light.

I keep my tank topped off to minimize condensation since it's not used frequently and stored in an unheated shed.
I also put a shot of dry gas in it occasionally.
That will emulsify the water and let it get burned, in theory.
