I stuck with the Honda recommended 10 PSI (as I voted above) for no other reason than I don't know any better! I will be interested and watching the vote results to see what others may find works better, and why, and under what circumstances/riding and use conditions.

I found that about 6 lbs front and rear seems to work well for general riding at a modest pace. If I were loaded or planning on pushing the pace I would go up from there. But that seemed to help smooth out the bumps.

I used to run 4 psi on my 8 ply roctanes but it felt like I was riding around with the parking brake on so I pumped it up to 8 psi. At 4 psi the 26s shrink down to about to the stock size of 24 so that was another reason to pump them back up. I put 12 in them today, felt like I gained 30% more power.

I ran 10psi when I originally purchased the machine but in the snow, in 4wd, it seemed to hop the machine BAD. I went down to 6PSI and it helped dramatically. Kept at 6 in the snow for the bigger footprint. Summer I may go up just a bit

I tried 7psi on my bighorns but it was mushy. I moved up to 10psi, better handling on dirt roads and rocky trails. I think on sand I would go back down to 7psi for traction.

Pioneer 500 owners,
What tire pressure do you run?
FYI - Honda recommends 10 psi cold.

Please answer in the poll or talk about it below.
Thanks.

In psi, vote twice Front & Rear, you may change your vote.
this is for stock tires...what about 26" radials?, front being 26x9x12, rear being 26x11x12.....thanks

From my prior experience with STI Roctane XD's being 8 ply radials 8 PSI seems to be about right combo for ride, traction, and ensuring you don't pop it off the bead with nasty rock & ruts.

I also run 25" Bighorn Tires. They were set at 10 PSI all round when I took delivery of my Pioneer 500, however I have now found 6 PSI is the ideal pressure for both front and rear. I can stay in 2WD and go most places around the farm.
Thanks

I had mine mounted Saturday and never checked until just a few minutes ago. I took it for a spin around the neighborhood and it felt like i was riding on rocks. The folks at the tire shop had them all over the place, even 30 in one tire. !5 in another and 25 in the other two..
I dropped them to 10 all around and when I ride tomorrow Ill adjust as needed

I have 26x9.5 vampires on stock wheels running 5 PSI in all tires. Mainly because on these tires it says maximum operating pressure is 5 PSI. Don't want to go any higher than recommended. Doesn't seem to ride bad and they pull like a mule.

My Ripsaws came to me mounted on 14" aluminum rims. They were already @ 10psi, and I have never seen the need to modify that. Just bolted them on, and went riding. If it ain't broke, let 'er bump! Ha!
