I'm looking at buying a Pioneer 700 Deluxe which has a width of 59.7"; I assume that it is measured outside tire to outside tire. My trailer (5x10) is 61.5" wide; this gives me 1.8" extra room. This is probably not enough is it? I really don't want to have to buy another trailer.

Considering your $$$$$$ investment wouldn`t recommend using unsafe towing method.
If this a flat open side trailer-- Slite side shift ( seen this happen ) & you will regret not taking care of 1st.
That said you could add some strong ft. & side rails 8 to 10in. high & still open door , would add enough safety to get buy.
If your anything like most of us a bigger trailer is in your future.
I'm up to a 18ft. Aluma power tilt.

How difficult was it to load/unload in the limited width space?
Do the math, it is great! HA! I bought a 18 foot thinking it was way to big, log splitter or mower behind the s x s barley fits, wish I would've got a 20 footer.

I have the same size for my 700-4. It gives me room for gas and camping gear.

I have a 5.5 by 10 and a 700 fits comfortably, so a 5x10 might be tight.

Do yourself a favor next time and buy a bigger one than you need. These things keep getting bigger, and inevitably, you'll want a larger one someday and it sucks to have to go and buy a trailer every time you change machines.

I had same setup and was no problem towing. I have since upgraded trailers because I added new wheels which made a little wider. Only cost me $250

Sorry about the tarp (was waiting for my cover to come in😊)but this is the best photo I have of my pioneer on my Aluma trailer. Pulls extremely well. Note the Ericksen Etrac chocks and ratchet straps on the rear tires, the only way to go in my opinion. 👍

My Wife said it looked like an elephant in a bathtub, but it fit ok in this 5 x 8 trailer by Tusky . Not bad for less than 600$ trailer for the occasional trailering needs, but would go longer and more heavy duty if needs were greater. I like the small trailer for ease of moving around by hand and storing space needs around my 5 acres wood lot .

My 700-4 fits me 5x10 with about an inch on each side. I’m comfortable with short hauls, but for a long haul the single axel worries me. I’ll eventually get a duel axel.

Mine is 5.5x10 and it fits fine and hauls fine, but I am not the most observant fella when it comes to backing off and have caught my right rear wheel on the ramp latch more than once. Will not have a trailer this small again

I really think you will be fine. I rub my sides a little and all it does it pop fenders off😂. This trailer was 63” wide and was plenty till I went and put 28/12s on the rear. As far as loading it,I only have issues with wet tires and loading on off chamber hillsides. When it’s not level I always put it in 4wheel and load to the high side…
