you just have to talk nice to them, then they'll leave you alone @Stevo, how come I can't see any bees flying around?
Those were supers.(boxes). That the honey was already extracted and actually taking them to put in freezer for 48 hrs to kill any wax moth eggs and small hive beetle eggs that may be there and can’t be seen. If there and hatch and not put back on bee colony they will ruin all the comb.

there they are , when I was a much younger man i used to help my neighbor with his bee's. He never used anything more than the smoker when he was handling his bees, i used to sit way back and watch the crazy ol koot. We need more folks like yourself these days as i hardly ever see honey bees anymore.

Herbicides? My neighbor has lost two family dog pets to cancer, he uses herbicides, would you want young children to play in ares that have been treated by a proven cancer product?

I think you will like the the mobility of the pioneer. Still using mine for bee work, would really like to be able to ride on our country roads with mine but not allowed in my are in the land of stinking. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Looks good. I plan on pulling honey next week it’s been 90 out so will be brutal. Then will be moving colonies to pollinate pumpkins. Dutch clover has been blooming like I have never seen before some colonies have three supers filled. You have your bees in a beautiful area.

Yeah it was high 80s here today and it was bad, but we got it all extracted. Got around 11 gallon. Not as much as I’d hoped for but I lost 5 hives over winter so I can’t complain with what I got.
Thanks, I have 2300 acres of watershed beside me that is all wooded so it’s a pretty good spot.
