Found a set of Polaris rims and tires that are in good condition for cheap. 27x9x12 and 27x11x12. Is that runnable on this machine?

Your P500 is a 4/110 bolt pattern if memory serves. I believe happyfred is correct. You can swap the rubber to your rims, but the popo rims aren't going to bolt up.

Ok, good to know. Didn't realize there were different bolt patterns on SxS rims. No idea why I thought they'd be universal.

Just watching the classifieds to see if I can't find a cheap upgrade for the season. Thanks guys

Btw, is there anything off another stock machine that's a decent upgrade?

In theory as long as the widths are close and the rim sizes match, anything will swap onto the stock steel rims?

Appreciate all the info. Obviously, relatively new 500 owner looking at some upgrades. I have a bunch of electrical stuff otw and am far more confident on that side of things. But the tires I'm not as sure. Hoping to add a bit of clearance, maybe soften the ride a touch, and in my mind slightly larger tires increase the top end slightly. Or put the machine at a slightly lower rpm at say 25-30 mph.
