Thanks drob8904 very nice work. I'm afraid I have neither the tools or the skill to do what you've done. I was hoping to get a response from 16p500 or Badbowtie as they have the aluminum cargo carrier I want. I'm changing my current setup and am going to an aluminum toolbox with the aluminum cargo rack. It's more versatile than what I have now.

My great day atv rear rack.

It’s not full width or depth. But it’s something I already had, and its working out great so far. I really wish they would build one for the p5 that was full size.

I've been trying to find a rack like this in Canada. Where did you get yours or is it custom made?
Did not find anything I liked so I designed it myself. Used 1/2 treated ply and 2 coats of Herculon bed liner. Lund tool box.

I have seen these units at our local Rural King, https://americanlandmaster.com/pdfs/UTV/Owners Manual/16599/OM_full.pdf and have managed to find the parts page, Parts Search - American LandMaster - American Built UTVs & Karts and actively have an email into American Landmaster to verify which "bed" listed goes with the full size unit shown. In the manual, the bed is listed as
35.25” length, 41.5” wide and 11” deep and may be a great option for the P500.... Has anyone else thought about one of these as an option?

That looks light weight and sturdy for most applications, nice. Where in KY are they located?

I am in Ashland KY, ride in KY, WV and VA, the Landmaster plant is in Columbia City Indiana. I travel a lot for work so i swung by there and picked one up. I like it, i had an aluminum Yamaha golf cart bed on it before. it was light but was a little small. I do have it if someone is close and is interested in it.

I actually stole this idea from this thread but it seems to work very well for me. I have added one more small version of the stacking boxes to use as a stand alone first aide kit. Thank you for giving me the idea, and I hope that I did not step on any toes by using it.

I've got that idea patented. You owe me one Talon 1000 for patent infringement! LOL. Glad you liked the idea enough to use.

I've been very happy with it. Keeps most items clean and dry with some flex space in the middle. I planned on cutting a slit in the middle box for the bar of a chainsaw so that it would fit in there nicely. I also found a soft side cooler that fits inside one of the boxes if I need to keep my beverages out of site. Probably the worst part is cleaning it and water sitting where the handles of the boxes are.

I will check the finances, but I would not count on the 1000.....

I had the same water issue the first time I washed them, however I have a compressor so I blow them off after washing and that seems to work well.

You need some HondaSXS.com decals to cover the Ridgid decal.
