Didn't see a thread like this, so let's see your wheels and tires! Post up the sizes and if you have a lift how much.

I just ordered these MB wheels in 14x7. Likely going with 28x10-14 Tusk Terrabites when I save a few more dollars.

Pictured on this one is 12" wheels and 26" tires.

just put these on today. Carlisle All Trail A/T, stock size, stock wheels. I ride mostly roads and the aggressive tread on other tires just doesn't last. I made it 2000 miles with the original set.
I've only drove a couple miles so far on this new set. On pavement they are still noisy but ride so much better than stock I was thrilled. I'll get out in the mud in a few days and see how they perform. Bought on ebay, $370 delivered to the house in 2 days.

What's the minimal offset available in those wheels?

The only offset I saw available was 4+3. I did the shocks, wheels, and tires at the same time and gained about 3.5" total width. I'm guessing without the lift from the shocks it would have been 5-6" width gained.

Would the 4+3 be more or less offset than 5+2?

4+3 would be less offset. 4 from mounting surface to back of wheel, 3 from mounting surface to front of wheel. So basically a 4+3 would be .5 offset and 5+2 would be 1.5 offset.

This is correct, but can be confusing. While it is less offset, they will stick out farther from the hub. In this case, the 4+3 will stick out 1" farther than the 5+2.

Correct, Less offset makes the wheel stick out farther. doesn't make sense until you understand where all of the measurements come from. And even then, it doesn't really make sense. Lol

Lol y'all. So if I'm interested in mainting the minimal width, the 5+2 is better than the 4+3, right?
