P500 Power Steering Issue

So, after installing the PS, it went great for a while but now it seems to be stiffening back up and it makes a binding/squeaking noise up where the steering wheel is attached to the PS mechanism. Any thoughts? Thanks

Mine would intermittently quit back in the winter. found the white wire was not making a good connection. But the squeak and binding???

Already try loosing all mounting bolts and upper shaft again to find the sweet spot? Had to do mine at first. No power does sound like electrical connection. Good luck.

I'd check those shafts, sounds like it may have slipped. That top one was the last one I tightened up. The unit will still torque up and down a bit when making full turns but like Mudder said you gotta find the sweet spot.

Yes, Sorry, I must've dozed off after the last millennium, at that chilli cheesecake twister party.....Everyone was squishy...
Anyway, It was the linkage bracket that mounted to the crossbar and it had moved over a 1/4" towards center. Just loosened the bolts slid it back to the outside and WHAMM-O The Blistery beast be ridin them high rainbows filling the skies with Pegasus and Ice cream pooping unicorns. Aye matey like sky pirates we flew the boundless realms and mystical skies of Kek.
