I purchased the PDM below for my dual battery installation. I thought I had the wiring figured out until I started reading their instructions. I have 2 questions now.

PDM

1. Is the power feed to the relay/fuse box only powering the relays or is it actually powering the wires going out to the lights, fan, etc.?

2. On the fused only wires there is just one wire coming out of the fuse box. Is it powered? If it is powered then should I use it as my power to the switch and then run the power out to the accessory?

I thought that all of the wires (the switch fused/relayed and the fused only wires) would be the actual power supply to the switch.

If i remimber correctly there is a red #8 size wire . This wire feeds the power to the fuses and the line side of the relays. Each relay has a trigger wire which you supply a positve power source and the it pulls in the relay. Then the color ed wire from that relay feeds positive power to you device.
The non relay corcuits are similer except they are only fused circuits without the relay contats.
If thats still no help PM me and ill draw an example for you and text it to you.

That's what I thought, but their instructions show tying in a power source on the end of the switch wires. I thought that this should be powered and supply power to my switches.

You have to supply the power to the switches. I used a fused output from the bussman.

I can understand supplying power to the switches and then running it through the relayed switch wires out through the PDM and out the accessories wires.

PDM Switches PDM Out to Acc

What I don't understand is the non-relayed wires where there is only a single wire coming out of the PDM, are they powered?
How are they used?

PDM Non Relayed

Non relayed are supplied for low amperage devices. Just run them thru the switch to power low draw accessories. I'm using them for some lights, spot lights, etc.

I've got it now, here's a diagram that explains it much better than their instructions. I can power all of the switches from one of the non-relay wires for power anytime or power them with a switch on hot wire.
