I was tired of hearing the doors and dump bed rattle (even after hinge upgrade) so I tried adding some plastic to the door pins. I used a driveway marker ($.99) I had sitting around and slid them over the pins. Took it for a test drive today and it was finally nice and quiet.

The plastic doesn't wrap around the pin completely for the doors but it actually works better that way. The zip ties weren't really necessary because the plastic stayed on it's own but I added them just in case.

I had those grommets cranked out almost all the way and the doors needed to be slammed hard to shut. It just didn't take all the rattle out. Some of it could have been the dump bed too I guess. I had adjusted the pins on the bed to make them as tight as possible when shut but overall it rattled like crazy on rough terrain.

Did you screw the grommets counterclockwise to reduce the ratel??

You can add these to those screw-in rubber bumpers to extend them. I found that they wanted to fall out if I threaded them out far enough to be useful, so these caps made them work better. Someone else's idea on here, though I don't remember who I got it from.

Yes, tried that but no matter how much I did and how tight I got them it still rattled going over rough terrain. The plastic on the latch pins for doors and bed is still working great for me.
