I am looking to install a radio on my new 700-4. Looking at the Boss square face and the 2 speaker box that mounts to the top. Also looked at the box that houses the triangle (regular looking) stereo and speakers all in one. Anyone install a stereo that they would do again or not do again. Don’t need a $500 system, just something to listen to.

I’m running a rockin radios box in a p1k. Added one of the round marine radios and 4 speakers. It’s enough for me. Not extremely loud but I’m also not worried about it draining the battery to bad. A rubber duck antenna mounted to the back of the roof picks up pretty good. All in about 400$

That’s not bad at all. Mine will be used when we do garden work and when traveling down dirt roads from one hunting spot to another.

The box I have was about 200. It has a decent interior light 12v outlet and it’s fused. Two toggles control power to light and radio. The box is wired for a constant if you want to wire the box straight to your battery to keep presets and clock. The box and my winch are the only things run straight to my 2d battery. You can spend as much or as little as you want to fill the box. I have four cheap Pyle marine speakers and the only time I can’t hear it is on the highway but a lot of that is because of the tire noise

I use the JBL Charge 3. It's bluetoothed to my phone. Water resistant, stays charged for 12 hours. Lightweight, no wires, portable and under 100.00. @Backwoods has a Charge 4. My wife uses ours on the outdoor kitchen and the garden when not in the sxs.

Using the JBL Extreme2. Used it last week for the first time on the trail and at speed, was pleasantly surprised. Velcro mounts for easy removal. No holes or permanent mods.
up to 15 Hrs on a charge.

I just ordered me the Velcro strap for my JBL. I’ll try the Bluetooth for awhile before i go to cutting and drilling holes. I did get the light bar installed. I wired directly into the wires from the factory headlight switch. Now everything comes on with the factory switch.

Not to copy you or anything but I ordered one today. The wife has the Charge 3 captured for her listening pleasure.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery , that's why you also love crocs . Your gonna like it. Mines plenty loud and actually turn it down some. Battery should last about 20 hrs. You will like it.

I run two Charge 4. You can sink them together and put them into stereo mode. Loud enough to hear at speed, plus you can use them as a device charger for your phone if you need it.
