Just to update this a bit...
I've been waiting these assholes out (mainly because I haven't been able to download my library), and its starting to pan out a little bit as expected. You can now get "3rd party hosting" for personal use for $100 year, which sounds worse than the just over $8 a month it is.

"Business use", However, is still $399 a month.
