P700 Rear Axle Replacement

Does anyone know if the older (2014-2017) model rear axles are the same for the 2018. I've tried researching it and as far as I can tell the part numbers are all 42350-HL3-A02 for 14-18. I need the rear driver's side for my 2018 model and my nearest honda shop quoted me one for $ 351 just for one axle. I'd rather try and find one cheaper than that if possible. The shop doesn't seem to want to tell me if the older models will fit but I suspect that's because the older ones are cheaper. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The older ones should be the same . Check eBay for a cheaper axle , they range from 69 buck and up .

tried one on my rhino, just broke again when i went to haul wood. there are after market ones, i put hunterworks one on it was heavier than stock, but they don have any hondas for whatever reason

it should or id think so. they might not of updated the description. i dont think they changed anything on the drivetrain of the 700s. it does show 2 different part numbers between the 2. but on honda website it is 224$ for the 2018 on and 169$ for the 2014 one. http//www.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts/a/hon/59b15e5f87a8660674e6b8f4/rear-knuckle-rear-driveshaft
