So I’ve always wanted a P5. Since I drove @trigger machine last year I always thought it would be cool to have one. So the time was right and this machine came available on the forum. So I made contact with it’s owner and started the process of selling my 2 quads that I was really no longer using. Why you ask did I really have to buy this? was for me but also for my awesome wife. She had one of the quads and it was just too much for her on the trails. So this makes it easier to ride my 50” trails outside my cabin door, and to explore some other smaller trails with @trigger and others. My P1K5 is still my main squeeze and we will turn to it more often then the P5. But the P5 will get it’s due quite a bit for us and others that visit us at the cabin. That’s the story. Now the name Bumblebee came from my wife. She thinks it resembles the Bumblebee from Teansformers. I rather call it wolverine with a huge blue block “M” on the hood, GO BLUE! Uh um..... but I’ll go with her suggestion. Although it will get a small block M somewhere on it:D. So we start the build where @JSPEED left off......

We start as @trigger and I did a road trip to Ft Wayne Indiana. We made the 2-1/2 hr trip down I69 hahaha on Friday night to meet @JSPEED to check it out and do a test run before purchase. Well let’s say it went well cuz I bought it! Haha. It was great. We laughed and joked and talked about the takeover, and razzed JSPEED about forgetting the soft doors! Lol.

We tried to do the phone timer on the tailgate to get a pic of all of us but the dam phone kept falling down. Although it got some comical pics as well, like what were these 2 looking at? Lmao

Then on the way home, I was so excited to put this machine in my truck. I have an 8’bed and it fit like a glove. Even @trigger said it felt like it wasn’t even back there! And the truck pulled it like nothin. That was a great compliment coming from a Chevy guy! Lol.

It’s at home now. It’s kinda bare without a box. But I got one! A Kolpin UTV box and a few other accessories that will soon be added. Here’s a few pics from the barn.

Now you can go on the 50" black lake trail ride... if we ever get it organized.
I vaguely Remember talking about that. Yes it would be cool. Refresh my Veteran young guy memory on that location.

First things first. I changed the steel fairlead with a synthetic Hawse fairlead. It shortens the deck by 3” in depth. Hope to give me a bit more clearance in the truck.
