Remote plug in for winch

Where is everyone mounting the plug in socket for the remote on their winches?

i mounted mine to the left of the accessory plug in

I mounted mine out front. It's upside down away from the weather on the inside of the passenger side head light.

I chose to not mount mine. I have mounted it on 2 of my other ATV's in the past and never used it. If I winch, I plan on applying gas so I'll be in the cab and can just use the switch I installed on the switch plate.
But I'm sure it may have a use for some.

look at honda mount instructions, they put theirs inside the glove box looks good

I ended up putting it next to the other 12 volt plug.

I decided to put mine on just in case I want to stand in front and align the cable better when spooling back in.

I put mine up on the black cowl above the front lid. Wired my contacter into the 12 volt accessory outlet…..which turns on with the key. Seem to be a good spot. But hoping ice and water are not an issue in the front.
