P1000 Repurposed truck bed extender for Pioneer

Found bed extender in attick from old 2000 F150. Decided to cut down and make it fit my Pioneer to keep the Yeti secure and accessible with passenger seats up. Being all aluminum and adjustable made for a fairly easy modification. Secured with screws into bed frame for now but planning a fix that allows it to flip over when tailgate is closed like on truck.

Looks good. As long as the yetti is secure that's all that matters!

I've been more focused on a cheap bed extender than a right sized one. I haven't measured the Pioneer bed width either.

Its close by about 3 inches .I picked one up a the scrap yard for the 700,but ended up building one.

I was thinking junk yard.. you mean it was it 3” wider than the 700??

it was roughly 3'' wider than the tailgate and blocked the lights...It looks just like what h2ofowler retro fitted up.I don't really know what it was off of.Someone told me the sport trac and it matches pics...I was going to cut out center and machine 3 aluminum inserts to connect it back to size.Fowler your extender looks great.....
