I would add that most weapons are tools even when they are in the safe or elsewhere.

I used to teach an hour class as part of a 2 day "Workplace Violence" workshop that was entitled "The 25 weapons in your office". It opened a lot of eyes.

I use the Cabela’s two gun case and have never had an issue. We use 2 of them to carry 4 rifles on pdog trips. Keep the zippers lubed.

That's pretty much where mine would fit but it will block view and air flow out the back window. Suppose I'll just bite the bullet.
