Added a way to carry a spare axle and keep
It from bouncing around in the bed getting covered in mud and dirt. It’s 2 bolts into factory locations and zip ties. It will fit with my Ridgid boxes mounted.

Hold a front axle perfectly, 4” cap, 24” precut section of 4” pipe, and a cleanout on the other end. Bent a couple of pieces of flatbar and used a strap loop to keep it from moving forward and back. The axle JUST fits inside so it won’t shift either and I wrapped the axle boots on paper towels, to keep them from rubbing.

Nice - what PVC did you use? Had used sch 40 but would like to do something lighter. Also pool noodles work good to protect the spines Extra axle storage options
I need to build a couple more

That would be schedule 40 cellular or foam core drain pipe. Used for drain applications only. They should also have standard pressure rated PVC pipe as well.

Amazon used USPS, were rural our driveway is ¾ mile round trip, so they won't drop packages at our house. It's an hour round trip to local PO plus waiting in line. Won't pickup any of the deliveries till tomo afternoon. Anyone know how to overcome this? We've been fighting it since we moved in in July. Sent email to Amazon they responded with they would move USPS to 3rd in shipping priority for us. We've provided the rural package delivery form too.

I despise the USPS. And we wonder why they're billions in debt.

It said but I painted over it and don’t remember.

Whole thing was about $25 between fittings and pipe.
