Russ989’s Trifecta Build

Russ989 submitted a new Garage Item:

Russ989’s Trifecta Build

After owning a 500 and a 700, it was time to move on up and buy the 1000. I’ve named this pioneer Trifecta. Stay tuned!

Look forward to seeing what happens to this machine!
Lol, I bet you are. I spent most of the night trying to convert it into a belt machine but no success yet. My next step is to etch Northstar into the engine case. ;)

If you want it to be more Polaris-like there are two obvious routes to go...
1) Lighter/Matches (I'd recommend towing it out of the garage first though.)
2) Every time you take it out of the garage for a ride you can send me a random deposit of money so you can feel like you paid for a repair

I think either will help you feel more like a Polaris owner.

I like your thinking JB. I might have to incorporate those ideas! :D

Can't wait to see what you do since this is your 3rd Pioneer build I'm sure it will be well thought out and purpose built. Go ahead and get started so I can check it out.
I appreciate your confidence in my ability to plan but you are giving me way too much credit lol.

No I think you have a very good idea what you need to build it for your type of riding and it will be 100% trail ready by Takeover.
That’s the plan. Now for finding a way to achieve it. It’s crazy how much more expensive accessories and parts are for the 1000. Oh well, that’s my own fault lol.

I recently added the Honda roof and Super Atv windshield. I should have bought this windshield last time!

That machine is so clean.

You don't have to listen to anything I say, but if you take this one suggestion seriously , I'm confident you'll be happy in the long run.

Note the red rock sliders in this photo, even partially to my surprise they are still straight at 900 miles.

If you're looking for a beefy under carriage upgrade this post is a good use of 2 more tube gussets

You’ve got my attention, I was trying to figure out how I was going to protect those. I’m checking them out right now!

I also added the 12” add a light bar kit from the store as well. It works on your dimmer switch when you turn on your high beams.

Looks like you're doing some light reading in my build thread. The first 5 or 6 pages were quite a rush trying to prep a new machine for wheeling in only 3 weeks. At this point I'm out of $50 and $100 mods but that new 3 core radiator looks so nice...

It never ends, this is my third Pioneer build. I’m pretty sure collecting stamps would be cheaper lol.
