Multi Scanner

I have not had any issues with my p7 or anything which isn't a surprise it's a Honda but I was pondering about what scanner the dealer uses to diagnose engine codes and if it's like a obd2 connector or something totally different? And too where is the connector?

I don't think they have a scanner. The check engine light blinks in different patterns for different codes
