I hook my battery tender to the main battery and it charges both. When the isolator's blue light is on, its charging the 2nd battery.
So the research I did says that if the battery is over 12.7 the blue light will stay on, that is from a guy on this forum who called True Isolator. A youtube video I watched about how this system works looked to me like the tender if it is hooked up to the main would only charge the main. The aux battery wouldn't charge until the machine is on and the main is fully charged. I will assume that with the tender on the blue light is always going to be on because the batteries will always be over 12.7

Thanks a lot friend! That truly helps. I will hook up 2 separate tender plugs for when it’s going to sit for while.

You're probably right but I only gave 1 tender so I would rather keep my main battery good to go.

The more I think about this, how does the factory charging system charge the 2nd battery if this is correct about the true isolator?

The factory charging system charges the first battery full while your machine is in operation and then after it is above 12.7 the isolator allows the juice to flow to the second battery. Its a pretty sweet system.

Thought I'd throw in a good top view for you. 🙄

Only messed up a $20 mud flap on the front right and no one got hurt so that was good. Lucky all in all. The roof held up good too. SuperATV windshield and transparent roof.

When the isolator opens up, it should charge the 2nd battery from battery tender also. The factory stator has to flow through the isolator the same way the battery tender does.

This sounds correct also. I just doubled up my battery tenders and they are both charged up. One would work based on the way the True Isolator

Put the Ryco street kit on, Trail Armour A-arm guards on. Mirrors. Have a back dust guard on the way. Need to get a bed extender with rack for roto gas can and I need to install my pod lights and light bar they are sitting on the work bench. Then I think it will be dialed.

Added the back wind/dust panel. Reduces dust in cab by approximately 80%. Works well.

$160. Worth it. Got tired of the dust at cruising speed. Installs in like 5min and you can take it off just as fast, its see through material for your rear view mirrors too.

I dropped $490 on the JEI bed extender with tail gate leveler wires, plan to put dual 2.5gallon reserve tanks on the back of it. Ordered it yesterday it will be here in a couple weeks but I'll get pics up when its on.

Thanks. I may give it a try. I have the mid panel and it helps the dust in the front but everything in the back gets trashed out with dust.
It works well for keeping dust out of your eyes but just know that on the longer rides the dust will unfortunately still build up. Not sure short of a full cab that this can be avoided.

I have seen people use a roof sun shade for the front of a Jeep. Looks like it is made the same, but a little smaller than that one. Cost less than $50.00 on Amazon.
