P1000 Sporting Clays Gun Rack

I consume a lot from other people's post on the forum. I decided to contribute on the new gun rack I built. I have about $125 into it. Our sporting clays course is 15 stations. Taking the Pioneer out really helps with hauling ammo/gear. Plus my wife has a disability and this allows her to shoot with me.

Please share, I have some improvement ideas for version 2 if I ever decide to build another, but this is working good now. I was trying to stay in my wheel house of skills on this.

I live on the East side of the state. I shoot at Bi State Sportsman Club in Colona, IL. Great place.

I've been thinking about your setup. I like it. I usually lay them in the bed on a mat. We've got some nice places to shoot here in Southern Wisconsin.

I believe some clubs require guns to be stored vertically, which is a challenge if you have a roof over the bed like I do on the 1000-5. There are nice affordable solutions for vertical bed storage on the market, if you don't have height limitations.

Can you explain how you build the black bottom matt?? I assume that's rubber??
