P1000 Still Waiting P1000-5 Trail

Put money down on a 2022 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Trail back in April, this was their 2nd quarter allotment. Was told should be in on May 31st.
Called today since it is now 30 days past the May 31st date. Was told expect August 31st!. Another 60 days and total of 90 days past the original delivery date. My guess is they are having trouble getting parts for the assembly line. Hopefully it may be sooner.
Anyone else having same problem? If so could you post when you put money down or when dealership said it would be delivered.

Been waiting since April too.............. of last year. Put deposit down at I-69 in Tennessee. I'm supposedly number one on the list, but at this point I'm not too confident my 1000-3 Deluxe will ever show up.

You just have to put in the work and call around.

There's a possibility that I'm being jerked around, but I've talked to other people who have been waiting just as long at that dealer too. At this point the situation is what it is, it's a strange world right now. I've had the opportunity to buy a new machine at other places but didn't want to pay the $3500-$7400 mark up the dealers wanted. It's not worth that much extra cash to me.

I called my Dealer in November to order a 22 Trail, I was told that they couldn't officially take my order until Honda did their release Once Honda did the official release I was told I was #1 on the list. I haven't put down a deposit. My machine has now arrived at the dealer and I am waiting for the accessories to arrive and be installed. I still haven't given them any money! My dealer works on a "handshake" Same experience when I bought a 700-4 a year and a half ago

I had one on order was told it would be here in 4 weeks back in mid-May. Was told last Friday, four more weeks, got on the net found one and bought it that same Friday. The original dealer was cool enough to simply return my deposit with no real argument or anything negative. The moral of story, get to searching dealers. This dealer had 2-2022 base 1k5s, 1-2022 1k5 (what I bought) and even a 2021 1k5 in stock.

I put money down on mine first week of April (was planning to get a base 1000-3) and ended up getting a call at the end of April that a deluxe had came in. Ended up going with it, and I’m glad I did now. The power steering is soooo nice

Wrong end of the state for you but our local dealer had 2 new P1000s in stock when I was in there recently. A 5 seat deluxe and a 3 seater. 3 seater still shows on their website.

I put a deposit on July 1st of last year and was contacted in May that it would be delivered on June 30, now it’s pushed back to July 31…13 months if it comes through. Pretty frustrating…

I'll be headed out early Tuesday morning, 162 miles each way. I have a whole boat load of accessories to install in the coming weeks.
And of course I know: POIDH.

Was able to pickup my 2022 Pioneer 1000-5 Trail yesterday after waiting for 5 1/2 months!
Sorry pictures are out of order 1st pic is on trailer ready to come home, last picture on showroom floor.
2nd & 3rd pictures are at new home.
Really impressed with the quick takeoff as compared to a CVT waiting on the rpm to build up to engage the clutch.
Went over it today checking the 3 grounds to make sure they were tight.👍
Checked the brake caliper bolts to make sure they were secure!👍
Going to put a few hours on it before starting all my accessory installs.
Getting ready to order more accessories from the HondaSXS store.
