I have a dual battery setup with my stinger for aux battery triggered by an ignition source. Everything works as it should and I can only use my accessories with ignition on. Would I be able to add a rocker switched power source from the battery to the stinger trigger terminal so I can activate the stinger while ignition is off??

You need a seven pin on/off/on maintained switch.

Could you explain which wires goes where on a seven pin switch in dummy terms?? I’ve saw the diagrams of it but they don’t make sense to me.
Yes you can, you have to add a on-off-on switch to be able to have (on demand, off, and ignition on) power
Is that the 7 pin switch people are talking about?

Also check out the club store, there's plenty of cool stuff. Nice plug-n-play harnesses for a few mods.

Thanks. That pic almost clears it all the way for me. I’m still a little confused on that line found around the perimeter with the X’s. Is that a line connecting terminals 1,3 and 7 to a common ground?

Black lines are connections inside the switch.
Only look at the colored lines.

So I just need to hook up 5 wires to the correct terminals on a 7 post switch as in the diagram? 1 Ground, 1 ignition power, 2 to the relay trigger connection and 1 to second battery?

Do you have a diode or anything keeping current from feeding back into the ignition?
No...its not tied to the ignition....the only thing tied to the factory system on mine is the dual battery gauge...all my accessories are on the 2nd battery. Very simple reliable setup

Only one wire to stinger. One wire from key on to switch one hot wire from 2nd battery to switch. One ground from 2nd bat to switch. The stinger only needs one wire from switch.
