I've been reading everything I can about wiring up a dual battery setup. I'm sure it was after too much bourbon, but I bought this;

If I remember correctly, at the time I thought it did what a stinger did, but only better. Especially in cold temps. Now I'm starting to question my thinking at the time. do I need a stinger? Is this even a relevant piece of equipment in a dual batter setup? If I need something else I want to get it ordered as everything else should be here this weekend. Thanks.

What does it even do?
Lol.. haha.

It has 2 functions depending on what you are using it for.

1- it works as a manual battery isolator.
Or
2- it works as the power switch for your accessory fuse block.

You apply a off/on switched, 12v and a Ground to the small post.
The large post is your hot wire in/out, from the battery and away when you flip it ON.

Quit speaking Chinese :) I already bought the isolator kit from the store here, so I guess I'm using it for option 2. Are you suggesting I need to buy a switch?

Could you also use one of these for a winch relay?

Why do you use a stinger between the battery and fuse panel instead of going directly to the fuse panel?

Can you help me out and tell me what kind of switch (a recommendation would be great) and tell me where in the "chain" it should be wired? (like in between the X and the Y). Sorry I'm so clueless. I promise I'm not this dumb in every subject :)
I have another request for this switch diagram. Ill draw it up tonight.

Swirch controls the stinger.
So you can turn it off/on when needed.
Stinger goes between the fuse block and battery and powers it.

Awesome! I was about to offer $$$ for a solid diagram for the entire double battery system! Would probably be the most useful sticky in the forum.

I am very interested in the diagram. I have a double battery and the isolator and that is as far as I've gotten. My questions are along the same line so I have swapped the warning plate in the cab to a multiswitch and so now do I need to get a fuse box and a stinger and a switch to start hooking up the lights, winch, USB charger ports, and lighter port?

Also...what is the best setup... I mean a stinger is a stinger, but what fuse box and what switch? Want it to be as clean as possible.

See.. yall running everything together. Haha.
I think this is why everyine gets so confused.

The TrueAM isolator has nothing to do with a stinger for accessories or the switch diagram im going to make. Lol.

Ps. And im just drawing a DPDT [on/off/on] switch for stinger control.
