P1000 Stock Exhaust tip modifications for pioneer 1000

Has anybody other than Joey done mods to their stock exhaust? I'm thinking of an exhaust tip or something to very slightly make it sound better and if performance can be increased thats a bonus too.

I can't find any exhaust tips out there for the P1000

I built a bigger tip and drilled a few holes in the baffle. Bit of a more throaty sound now.

Had my local fab shop cut the arrestor out of the tip and make the tip a little larger in diameter.

@Carleton, I wouldn't expect any performance increase as HMF full replacement only adds 1hp. But it will give a deeper sound.


CP: This group looked for anything rough and had a great time. It wasn't all about who was the best or correct line just some good ol boys with a beer and a 4wd.

You can use a grizzly tip and arrestor and it will work as a pioneer 1000 tip replacement.

P1000 - New exhaust tip option!!!!!

So I wanted to take the stock exhaust tip off my 1000-5 but need to have a spark arrestor for when I'm on forest service land. This fits the need and fits likes it's supposed to be there. Perfect match in all aspects including being the same size as the muffler outlet. No more flow restrictions...
