After about 6 and a half WEEK wait, the stage 3’s are in…and on. Have a 2018 P 1000-5 Deluxe, can't believe the front stockers aren't adjustable at all. Was hoping to decrease body-roll, and improve the ride comfort level. Check…and Check. Where I am, the Stage 3’s & the FOX QS3’s are about the same $$. Read good things about the Elka brand, and have to say they are worth the money. Highly recommend these shocks for the Pioneer 1000’s.

Wondering how they effected body roll? My stock 2016 seems to be really bad.

Looks good! I have Elka Stage 4s on mine and I love the ride. They felt like a big upgrade from the Fox shocks and the Fox shocks are a huge improvement over stock.

Not to hijack the thread but a quick question. What is the difference between the stage 3's, 4's, and 5's? I'm sure I can search and find the answer, but it seems easier asking ya'll since you use them.

I put stage 3 on the ft only to remedy the bottoming out issue ,Hugh improvement.they ask u a lot of questions regarding how much weight u have added to the machine along w tire upgrades.I bolted mine on adjusted preload to match my original ride height, and not have touched them since. Great shock!

The stockers are pitiful, think you made the right choice with the Stage 3's!

It's a noticable improvment, there's still a bit of it - but no longer has that feel of wanting to tip over in sharp turns.

So after a few rides I am wanting to upgrade shocks as well. I do like the idea of the self leveling rears although I may be overthinking it. Is just doing the fronts a worthy upgrade?

Five's have rebound adjustment and high and slow sped compression adjustment. Think the three or four are more than adequate. Just don't have that much travel to use all the adjustments. I have the five's.

Yes all I did was the FTs ,left the self levelers on the rear.A lot of guys will tell u after u do the fronts u will want to do the rears. They do not give u a discount for buying all four,so u have nothing to lose by doing just the fts first.

The self levelers are a joke, they don't work! There a Honda joke! Get the rears!

mine work just fine.i put close to the max weight in firewood in mine. almost every time i go out, i fill it on the way back home.usually through tight, off camber, rocky forest trails meant for atv's and i still haven't rolled it.they most definitely suck when i'm doing jumps though.
