"If you control the food, you can control the people" POS Globalist Henry Kissinger.....I think it's a good time to start a Victory Garden, like the ones folks started during WW2 to supplement the food rationing put forth by the government to help feed our troops in the war effort. It has become something of a war with control over the food we eat especially with all the nasty stuff that's added to our crops and soils in big agriculture business. It's high time we start finding out ways to become more self sufficient and produce our own produce. Many of the large seed companies are currently only providing seed to their commercial accounts and won't be selling any seed to small home gardeners. Only recently companies like Johnny's Selected Seeds said that they'd start filling orders for small gardeners by April 6th and now it's being pushed back again until the 28th. You can still find seeds at the big box stores but their not the best in my honest opinion but, they will produce food and that is key right now towards gaining an upper hand in the personal fight of food freedom...I've been hard at it getting my gardens up and running. You should too! I couldn't find any dent or flour corn available but then did so on our local craigslist and tomorrow I'm meeting a gentleman to pick up a couple pounds of RED JIMMY CORN which is considered to be a nearly extinct red/blue Indian corn. I'm also getting a white dent corn and later in the fall, a variety of corn grown by Thomas Jefferson. Get it planted y'all and get ahead of the game! I'm planting different varieties at a few friends properties so as to not cross pollinate with other varieties I'll be planting. V is for Victory!!!

I just built Mrs 906UP a greenhouse, it's really the only way to get a decent garden UP here, we had an inch of snow on the ground this morning, we'll have a few more freezes before it's done

I really should have swung by when I was in your area last week. I assumed I would have been shot at the gate and decided to keep on trucking.
Last week I had my appendicitis, so....next time I’d expect ye to come stay fer some hospitality

Blanching and Canning. So, about 4 gallons of fresh picked Kentucky wonder pole beans equals 18 pints canned. It was quite a bit of work and I’m kind of worn out but in the end I think it will be well worth it considering what’s happening with food in general and prices and shrinkflation.
By the time money propane planting harvesting weeding and doing everything else that went along with it, it was still worth it. I’m all about being self-sufficient and I do love me green beans!

Blackberry bushes use to grow wild at my grandpa's garage when I was a kid.

They don't put out much anymore, mostly just grow like crazy.
