Tablet mount

Where is everyone mounting there tablets? I put a super atv flip up windshield and my tablet box won't fit, so I've picked up, a ram tablet mount, and I wanted to see where everyone is mounting them. I'm thinking about mounting the base, on the little triangle spot on the passenger side so I can tilt it towards me.

I mounted mine on the oh s*** bar with several RAM components. I can reach it from the driver's seat and it's not intrusive should there be a passenger. Have this set-up in all 3 Talons and getting ready to install in my Pioneer

I mounted mine on the ROPS bar above the driver with a Ram roll bar mount. It's out of the weather and doesn't interfere with any of my switches, my line of sight, or the passenger grab bar.

I tried it in the rear view mirror position but it got in the way of my helmet cam.

That's a u-bolt running under the sissy bar -

I mounted mine with just a std Ram mount on the ROPS above my head driver side.

That's what I was thinking, only because tje old lady doesn't want it on the o- 💩 handle incase she has to reach for it in a hurry.

Sorry, i just picked up the buggy last week, haven't even taken it on its maiden voyage yet. Wanting to get it set up before it gets muddy. Lol

Here's some photos of my tablet mount in my X. I have this exact set-up in the Talons and ,looking to do over the winter in the Pioneer. I can swap tablets between different vehicles with ease

The key with the mount not shimmying is the size of the RAM Balls. The standard size were horrible, the larger size are perfect. The tablet affixes to the mount via magnetic connection and manual lock. Tablet definitely secure to the mount. This style mount works great for both front seat occupants and continues to allow adjustment of your OH s*** BAR and use as intended by passenger

@badboz13 this is mine. Its a garmin Overlander 1st gen. Attaches with a Ram mount via a very strong Magnet with a charging port. The other end of the Ram mount is attached to the ROPS.

I had it up top but had to move it to install my Comsole radio. I also like it better here so that my passenger can see it. Up top it had a glare that my passenger couldn’t see the screen if need be.

One reason I like the tablet in the center is because there is less time not looking on the trail. Also I have all my music stored on the pad and normally run a split screen. Also this makes the passenger have just as good access to the tablet if needed.

I bought one off of amazon that mounts in the center console. It opens to allow access to a Switch pod and Rugged Radio 2way radio or use it for storage. The intercom is below the mount. It fits great.

I originally picked one of these up, had one in my RZR and loved it, but it won't fit with the super atv flip up windshield.
