I know every year we discuss this. But every year we have new members that want to put together a decent tool kit for the trails.
@joeymt33 , @ohanacreek , @Neohio . @Ragnar406 . Ect

Spare tie rods.
Tire repair kits.
12v water pump for cleaning radiator.
Standard hand tools.
What else would you consider necessary?

I’ll make a list of what I’ve got a little later I need to check it out before Takeover anyway.

In addition I like to carry a head lamp, extra fuses, Butt connectors, wire crimpers, relay, electrical tape, zip ties, a jack, Dewalt 1/2 impact, tire, and cheap Ryobi battery air compressor.

I have not gotten extra tie rods, one of my buddies bent one at Takeover last year around 2am :), Or water pump. I need to as well as add a SAE connector. I know whatever I do not bring is what I need. One guy with us even brought a squeegee

We normally carry a few items with each person so there is room for the cooler and food.

Lol... yes!
Smart ass. I don’t beat up my machine so I know it’s a Honda and it doesn’t break unless abused so I think I should be covered

The following is added for day trips and longer.
Ridgid Boxes in bed (1) Medium (2-3) small
Each stack takes up one half of the bed.(LINK)

Added for extended or more remote rides
Axle in a PVC Pipe with screw on cap.
SAT Phone(LINK) in a small Pelican case, sounds uppity but go price it if you’re out a long way where an emergency can go south fast with no help.
Camping gear which all fits in a single Medium Ridgid box.
Clothes according to needs
Toiletry kit
Longer rides the group tries to carry enough for the group which tends to be much less when you’re not each carrying a full tool kit, spare tire, axle, first aid kit, etc.

EDIT: yes the lower two sections are probably more than a large majority will ever need but this is my "golf/gambling/drug addiction/mistress/and to hell with it" I want it all rolled into one. I have made some really good friends riding.

Ball joints are useless unless you bring a press. That is a heavy piece of kit. Maybe leave those in the truck with the kit. Can always find a way to tow you home.

This is the thread we discussed tools in depth.
