X or R? I ask because I run light truck tires on my R (BFG K02) but they ride rougher than an OHV tire, I wouldn't want to run anything rougher on an X since it already rides rougher than the R.

Since I'm retired, I get to ride a lot - my first replacement tires only lasted 5700 miles and that was 6 tires, 2 fronts 4 rears; I want better mileage than that. The K02's are looking good at 3300 miles, 10k looks possible (again thinking 6 tires).

The BFG UTV specific KM3's are very popular but considerably more expensive. UTV tires are made for lighter vehicles and 'should' ride softer.

Neither of these are mud tires though.

I have and like both tusk megabyte\terrabyte. The terrabyte has a more closed tread, so it rides smoother on hard pack/gravel roads. The mega is more open tread so it does better in muddy situations, but you can feel it on hard pack. The terrabyte is not horrible in mud unless it is really muddy. Both use the same carcass and have held up well for me.

Awesome thanks for the great replies. I definitely want to run my stock rims. Trying to keep everything light. Don’t wanna lose any performance. You must be running 10 inch wide tires.

generally most run 30x10x15, they fit on stock rims no problem. I added 1.5" spacers in the rear with my stock rims and 30x10x15 tires.....

I found some new takeoff 0 mile CST behemoths on fu#$book for $200 for 5......probably a junk tire but couldn't beat the price....thin wallet here

Have you guys had any issues with your machine not going straight down the road after changing to these heavier tires? Thank you

I have a red one, its faster than the other colors so with the extra hp straight as an arrow down the hardtop.....

not sure how a slightly heavier tire would affect straight line driving?

btw, you need to post pictures of your machine, you may be asking for a friend

I run the Goodyear authority from walmart at $160 each, fronts went 14,000 miles rears will be done around 13,000. I ride all desert and (dry) trails, quite a bit of asphalt in there sometimes. 8lbs in the front 11 in the rear, no complaints from the passenger side about the ride. No flats to date. we are sightseers and explorers, normal day is 150-200 miles, full lock slides not on the menu

They are labled 31x10.50. measure almost 30 tall, about 10 1/4 wide. I have them on sti hd9 wheels, wouldn't hesitate to put them on stock wheels. Tried to give you a link, went like most of my efforts in the electronic world
