Pondering where to mount my 32inch light bar. Thought about putting it up on dash but I'm a short fellar and didn't like trying to look over it. Ordered some mounts from amazon and came up with this. I haven't seen another this big mounted in this location. Mounts barely reached but not touching anything but the plastic head light bezel. Anyway just wanted some feedback on this mounting option.

Looks good to me. The light is most effective out front like you have it. There will be the least amount of glare.

You're only worry will be ramming something and breaking it.

That's my only problem with it there . I like the way you have yours mounted just haven't forked out the cash for a brush guard yet.

I guess the worst thing that could happen is you lose a $50 light bar. It's not a huge risk. I think you should just stick with it and see how you like it.

That's the same concern I had. Not just breaking it but also mowing down bushes, you might keep knocking the aim off. You have it tucked in there pretty good so might not be bad.

I like the location. Are you handy with a welder? If it was me, I'd go to junkyard and get an old motorcycle rim and use the spokes to weld up a brush guard for the light.

It's perfect for back roads and logging roads, as for going through thick brush, I don't know you'll just have to try it out!

Just so happens we have a salvage yard that's where this light bar came from good idea thanks for the input.

I mostly run hard pack,old log roads on my property .i have a few brushy areas nothing terrible though.
