I run 27x9 fronts and 27x11 rear on stock wheels no rub at all and I’ve had it binded up and never come close plan to add 1.5” spacers soon just for price of mind.

I'm running ITP Blackwater Evo 26x9-12 all around on STI HD Beadlock wheels 5+2 with no spacers. I went with 26" to be sure the P5 would fit inside my enclosed trailer. Since the blackwaters are slightly undersized, I think I can go with 27's when these wear out

26" Evo next to 25" OEM
Anyone with a P5 running Blackwater's?
To avoid confusion, I probably shouldn't have abbreviated Evolution to Evo.

Been researching the hell out of 28's lately. You'd be surprised, some tires that are high dollar just don't perform as well as you'd expect in some terrain. Love the idea of a meaner more aggressive tire, deep lugs and side wall protection but they start getting weighty and wheel speed is definitely a factor with this machine, especially with 28's. Carnivores are a good looking all terrain tire but you can't get them for 12" wheels.
My search keeps leading me back to the 2.0's, a light radial that wears like iron. Not great at anything in particular but good at everything and have never let me down. If there's another tire out there that can measure up, I sure can't find it.

if you go up, you need to add width as well. Running 26 inch big horn tires....a true 26 inches. Stock roll over angle is 33.5 degrees. Old ground clearance was 8.5 inches. It is now 10 inches with the 26 inch big horns. Tires are 9 inches wide front and 12 inches wide rear making for a nominal 56 inch width with 2 inch spacers. New roll View attachment 178958 View attachment 178958 over angle is now 35.3 degrees, so better than stock stability.

I just had a similar debate and went with 27x9 zillas on 5-2 offsets on all four. Zillas run closer to a 26 than most. I used a 1 inch spacer on the rears only, and I'm very happy with its footprint. The tires are just barely wider than the widest part of the body which is what I wanted. Zillas last forever

I am running SunF 27’s (9”wide fronts, 11” wide rears) on stock wheels and tires with 1.5” spacers all the way around. Definitely recommend spacers if your going to a 27.
