Screenshot 2023 02 22 164324Looking at getting this combo. Says it has a 10mm offset. Will I want to get any spacers to go wider or should this be sufficient.

That offset is a 5+2 and If your going same size all the way around, yes you want spacers to fix the trac. I have the same offset and the RB3 bundle, 1” front and 1.5” in the back. Or u can just do 1” in the back but u can still rub a bit in tight turns

Would the mud rebels be better in snow. Living in northern Iowa I get my fair share of it. Other than that its mostly gravel roads and grass. Not too much pavement.
Round profile tires tend to do better in snow and sugar sand, they have more flotation. Flat profile tires dig and are better for mud.
A guy in our group showed up with those tires on his P5 one day and I had envy. Watched him try to climb a sand hill 3 times and couldn't make it. My P5 climbed it the first time with BH 2.0's. Those Rip Saws are kinda heavy too. Again, great for mud.

Would these make a better option? Not very concerned with being great for mud since I don't spend much time in it. Is it also a bad idea for all 4 corners being the same size? Benefits/downfall of running like that?

Same size on all four allows you to rotate, also simplifies carrying a spare. Like Remmy said, you'll want 1" spacers for the rear to even your track width with 5+2's.

Would I be around 52" with the 5+2 and 1" in the back? Sorry for all the idiot questions it's my first set of aftermarket rims for a big boy toy.

5+2's and 10" wide tires will put you around 55".
I would agree with Trigger.

I have 5+2 wheels currently and I am running 27x11 tires and I'm somewhere around 55.5-56" wide.

Every tire is going to be a bit different depending on the tread design. Tires that don't have side biters or knobs that extend down the tire sides, will likely run a bit narrower. Inflation pressure will change the width and height of a tire too.

On a side note: Does anyone know what the actual measurement of p500/520 is from hub mounting face to hub mounting face on the front?

Nuther option just to muddy the water more…
27x11x12 (all corners) on 5-2 rims no spacers, it just squeezes between the fender wells on my old Powerstroke 97 pickup. Bear Claw Radial HTRs for what I do, old roads, trails not a huge amount of mud. These have been excellent tires, durable and I’d recommend radials, noticeably smoother ride, better traction. I’ve tried them at 10psi and as I’m loaded light, usually just me, chainsaw, extra fuel, recovery gear, I find 8psi on the rear and 6 psi on the front is like riddin in the clouds… think pillowy controlled floating over keerap and debris, stage 3 Elkas help too, none the less radials make a significantly smoother ride.

Ok so I'm in the same boat. New 2022 P5 but hate the 4ply oompa-loompa skins. So how wide do the 5+2 rims have to be to accommodate a 26x11x12 or 27x11x12? I've seen some tire makers need 9" wide rims. Also, do those 27x11's rub the frame in front? Thanks so much!

...and don't those 27x11x12's rob power from the rig? I've heard people mention that just the rears can create power problems... not that any of us bought these things to go racing. Love that rig by the way.

I'm running 27s, 9s front and 11s rear (on 4+3 offset rims).

As I like to say: It was slow before the 27s; it still is . . . ;) :D

Yeah. She's not real quick but she doesn't go fast 🤣. Did those 11 rears go on 7" wide rims? Thanks for the input.

Hi BadBillyPratt,
5+2=7” wide rims. No frame rub, but I do have larger fender extender/flaps on the front and at full lock left with a little compression it will just touch fender extender inside the wheel well, not a big deal for me.

Typically for my usage it’s primarily just me, sometimes wife, plus chainsaw and recovery gear on mine, so 27” tires work well for my needs. E.g., trails, old forestry roads, hunting, exploring, not specifically muddin. If I was loaded all the time I’d probably do 26” tires. 27” are great, just on long pulls at WOT, weighed down it can mean shifting between 4/5 whereas with 26s it’d probably pull it. Thing to note ensure you measure true tire diameter as many are undersized. HTRs are great tires, radials are the way to go for sure.
