They do look great. Give the wheel manufacturer a call and see what they say about the gap. Is it really 1/4"? I agree you definitely want it tight to the rim. Not sure what the best solution is.
Ok so tires and wheels mounted and on .No grooving as of now want to do some testing. But wanted to update everyone. Ok the beads on truck tires are thick I'm pretty sure I'll half to make 1/4 spacers to go in between beadlock and wheel and get longer bolts as of now the Rings are not torqued to the rim only to the bead of the tire. There's still room in between the lock and the rim I don't think that's right. But overall pretty happy so far .If I had to do it again @Cuoutdoors dont know if I would have gone beadlock but, they look awesome.View attachment 73904View attachment 73905View attachment 73906

That's very possible but maybe they have a solution. Most guys in the Baja 1000 run truck tires on their utv's and use beadlocks. What are they doing different?

There will be a gap between ring and wheel. I thought the same thing...but it is normal. Just make sure they are torqued to the wheel manufacturers specs and roll with em!
For proper thread engagement, I would suggest acquiring bolts 1/4" longer than the rims were delivered with.

Ok so reading, research and I have buddy that has factory beadlock on rzr rockcrawler. Beads are to fat so here's what I did to them before I make solid rings it was pulling so hard the bolts weren't straight/ perpendicular to rim any more! New setup .04 taper in lock ring with .326 nut behind ring . Old setup .180 taper not touching rim. Well in the ice racing world more little edges give more flex and grip from my experience. More open tread is for more clean out. So i say groove away but think about sipes.
