Put new, ripsaw knock off, Chinese 26" tires on. They look really nice! Ride well too. 6ply. 5psi. Pretty sandy where I mostly ride. Thing is where I was going in 2x with stock tires I now just dig big holes and have to back up, switch to 4x and get a run. Sometimes it even starts bouncing all around but eventually will get out. Tires are wider than stock, 26x11,12 in rear. This is a problem I think I will get over when riding in the snow. I don't see much mud. Never thought I'd have a problem with too much traction

Post a link to these tires. I've never seen a ripsaw knock off, but some people really like rips, so maybe an alternative for them.

I ran ripsaws for a while. I never did much sand riding, but several people have stated that ripsaws fairly suck in sand, so you aint the only one.

I'm not positive they're ripsaw copies. They're pretty common (the one's I've got). Non directional and quite aggressive. I'll post pics later. Sorry to say it but they were the least expensive 26" tires I could find. I'm actually not complaining, as they are quite an upgrade from what was on it. Gained much needed ground clearance and better ride.

Bad news . I have real Rips on my RZR and they don't work very well in the snow . I do like them but I feel they are toooo heavy for my P5

Yeah, this is a known problem that I saw first hand a couple years ago. @PistonHonda showed up to a ride with new Rip Saws and they looked BA! I was jealous as hell and was making plans to switch out what I had and go to those. Then we hit the sand hills, he tried 3 times to get up a hill and just kept digging in, not making it to the top. I made it up the first try with my Big Horn 2.0's. Others have stated that they suck in snow but I can't confirm it. They're heavy and aggressive, look wicked and would probably tear through mud like crazy. Sorry but probably not the best choice for all around though.
A little late but I would advise guys to ask the question here before a major accessory purchase or mod, someone's probably done it already and can give you the pros and cons. ;)

Hard to beat Bighorn type tread, moderate lugs for mud and rocks, but open gaps for surface area floatation and mud clearing. My All Season tire (without snow of course).

Here's the sad truth. Here's pics of my tires. Somehow had it in my head they were ripsaw clones. Actually, they are bighorn clones. Will probably just wear them out and get some Bear claws. Got them on my Grizzly and they're awesome!

Doesn't really matter to me what they're patterned after. They seem to be very good quality tires. What impressed me most (I've been an Automotive tire dealer/salesman/installer for almost 30 years), was these tires, once lubed up, all, and I mean every one, beaded, front at 26 psi and rear at 30 psi. Never seen anything like it with atv/utv tires.

Those look a lot like the SunF versions, or maybe Duro power grips.

This is the original Big Horn...

Interesting that they don't do well in sand, since Bighorns seem to do alright In it. How much air you running?

I started with 12psi. Down to 5psi now. Hate to go much lower. They're not "horrible", just not exactly what I was hoping for.

I definitely shouldn't be complaining, as these tires were only $239+tax shipped to my door. Sold originals for $150. I'm into them under a hundred bucks. (I have a tire machine). For the ground clearance alone, not to speak of better ride, it's a bargain!

They're Chinese, "Million parts" lol. And they say Chief on them. Cheap, actually really good quality.

I have 1700 mi on my BH2.0 in 25” and my P5 does killer in snow. So good all around I’m buying more only in 28” size x 11” on all four next month. Run 4 lbs all around. Never a hole n never blown a bead while driving.

Now if I could only figure out why it doesn't want to start after it's been setting a couple of days.

Parasitic draw? A relay that is not on switched power? Battery-disconnect and if it still does it it's the battery.
