A Tractor and SxS seem to go together for some forum members. Might be an interesting thread to show your SxS, ATV or Tractor for doing work. Thinking that sharing Mods, attachments or projects might help others get the most out of their machines.

My current project, building up pasture and riding track after digging a pond with a 2004 Kubota B7800.

I have a 2003 Kubota B7500 with front loader and several attachments. It's a real back saver. The wife just bought me a new Hustler Fastrak 60 with suspension seat, she thinks I'll want to mow now.

HA! I roll around on a 51 Ford 8N with a Mutouri 5 foot finish mower in tow for the wide open stuff and finish with a Hustler 4 foot Zero.

1954 Allis WD45 that I grew up on and restored a few years ago. Mainly rake tractor these days. Used to do a lot of idiot cubes on this tractor.

Ford Jubilee

Plan on making a working restoration this year. Engine runs tranny stuck. Adding Sherman combination tranny and fixing the shift forks. Paint next year maybe. Probably run 5 ft bush hog or post hole digger.

Also have a 706 IH diesel and a newer 130 HP MFD Zetor tractor. Mostly chore and light farm / hay work for these two tractors on the farm.

Two years ago I broke the original fan belt on the Ford 51, Napa couldn't believe it! HA! That will be a nice restoration! And adding the Sherman is killer!

I wouldnt want to be without my skid loader. With pallet forks it’s great for getting firewood carrying logs to my outdoor furnace and cutting them up there. Here I am replacing a 60 year old metal waterline. A backhoe dug the trench.

Cool thread, all I’ve got is old pics but you’re right that they are tools that go great together.

I used the pioneer and tractor both today to clean up a tree that fell yesterday. The Honda toted the saws and the tractor had the grapple.

@100Acre , Just had some loader hoses made to replace some leakers, They lasted 15 years. Also straightened those same metal lines by hand by threading small rachet strap between them. Got tired of looking at them bent for over a year. Front loader clamp-on Pallet forks one of the best additions.

Found a good use for some large angle iron and the old $49 HF 2500 wireless remote winch. Can wrap a lot of branches with the pallet forks. Added same battery charger plug as used on the SxS.

Here's my tractors, also have a New Holland 565 lx skid loader and a Kubota RTV 900. Pioneer does no work just my choice for a toy. Also have plenty of implements.View attachment 122243
used alot of different ones deere and ford especially, stopping and cleaning the rad is a pain
always liked the masseys best, alot of neat ideas. the compact ones at least have the rad under the steering so you dont get the grass buildup if your mowing. have all the dealers 20 minutes away but you never see a decent deal on used ones and new 30h is just not in the cards for a toy. be different if it was my job, landscaper or farm i would probably have those. the new holland ones you find alot more and i got it for half of a new one before add ons. was at a dealer, nothing you think of getting a deal but most all the big name ones will last if you arent using for work everyday anyway

Mine have had to work for their keep . Grew up in the country but not so much anymore. To much development over the years I own some land , family has a good bit. Rolled and sold more hay than I can remember. The big one I got for half price it was a buyback with computer problems but they replaced it and I have had no problems it was bought to replace a 85 horse Kubota that was stolen from hay fields along with the Kuhn disc mower on back of it. I wanted to trade it anyway the are good but to light weight . Always had Ferguson's but wanted to try the orange one. The 40 horsein picture is hydrostatic drive it's pretty neat

like there petals alot better than new holland, like deere ones. mine has the hydro but the petal is a rocker, i had a mower at work that way too always hated that trying to work it with boots is a pain. always thought 30-40h compact was a decent size, so that be a 1540? thats why i got mine has the clearance and can run 6ft stuff. we have alot of mud and trees, light and small is good most of the time. never had or operated an orange one, one of the guys in my club has one its between there subcompact and mine, tlb, but he just uses is for mowing his yard mostly. the only thing broke so far was the hydraulic fitting and he said they came right out and changed it. he dont work it though but it was nice clearing trails with that

I end up using the Kubota hydrostatic pedal “cruise control” lock more than I thought when bushhogging pasture. Also finally replaced the seat with a higher back support one from Northern Tool, but did have to buy 4 short metric bolts to fit. Alot more comfortable, should have done it sooner. 1000 hrs just rolled up.
