Can anyone guess the significance of the name "Traveller"?

I may change its name to Manuel. It does all the "manuel" labor around here......

Very old thread here. My buddy @DGann showed up with the pioneer 700 that I sold him back in late 2015. he brought it in the shop for some exhaust work, brakes, lights, switches, etc. it’s still a rock solid machine like it always has been.

Hey @DGann how about showing a picture of those lights we mounted.

We were thinking about riding today but it didn’t work out. We are going to get a ride and hopefully in the next couple weeks.

That pioneer 700 is way to clean! But I know that he will solve that issue because it seems like every time we go out he finds a big mudhole somewhere.

I like the numbering system. I may adopt it.

This is the rack and pinion mount which is also cracked and pulled away from the frame a little bit

We just used a flux core wire welder. Had to remove the tabs from the frame to straighten them out and then weld them back on.

They are also welded on the inside of the tabs and the backside of the frame. From the factory they are only welded on the outside.

We added braces that goes from the lower part of the upper a arm out over to the rack and Pinion mount. It’s a small piece of angle that should add some strength.

There are holes in the upper a arm mounting tabs so we added some all thread through those holes to help tie them together. It will keep them from pulling apart but it’s not going to add much support if they try to push together.
