P700 Trouble getting a 2021 700-4 deluxe

I'm currently in contact with my local Honda dealership asking to get a 2021 Pioneer 700-4 deluxe in brown. I have to go there and order it with a $500 deposit to guarantee I get it by March. Anyone else trying to get a new one and hearing of such a thing? I've bought 4 other rides from them and called a week a head and it was there.

I ordered the same one in July $500 deposit and it showed up the first week of November.. My dad ordered the same one 2 weeks ago $500 Deposit they said March is the expected delivery.

I put a deposit down '21 700-2 Deluxe back at the end of September and received it mid October. I was told it was the last 700 in any configuration that they had incoming until March of 2021. Not sure if the issue stems from an increased demand or a decreased supply.

This is why used machines are selling for a premium. A four year old machine is almost the same price as a new one, because you can have it now.

this market is mental.

I asked about a deal less than Msrp on a machine at my local dealer, and they told me to come back in March. They have very few utvs in stock and probably won’t get more till March.

so it sounds like the story is similar-around the country.

Hello just saw your post and want to tell you I have a brand new one with dealer windshield and roof installed. I have found its way more then i need or want and the title is on the way from honda, I am going to sell it as soon as i get the title. I live in central florida and wanted to know if you are interested in buying it??? just a thought thanks Rodger Riley

I have found its way more then i need or want and the title is on the way from honda, I am going to sell it as soon as i get the title. Thanks but I'll wait. Florida is a bit to far for me to pick up and besides March it will be warmer for me to enjoy it. And also already have my deposit on it. It's been guaranteed.

I'd say good idea going ahead with the deposit. My guess is.....as the vaccine rolls out and restrictions are lifted.......people are going to hit the outdoors en masse, making current wait times look like chump change. Welcome to the Pioneer club!!!

I went looking locally for one at my 2 local Honda dealerships in September. Their showrooms were empty and they had no idea when they would be able to restock. The first place I went to said I could pay a $1000 down payment and I could pre-order one but they could not give me a time frame. The second place was also empty but they said in a week or so they would be getting the only 2021 700-4 deluxe that they would get all year. Luckily it was a brown one because camo is not for me. I gave him my number and said call me as soon as it arrives and I’ll pick it up. A week or so later on Oct 1 it came home with me with a hard roof, a flip-up windshield, and a rear-view mirror along with the Honda extended warranty.

I'm not surprised you would have to put money down and you and others will be paying full MSRP or very close to it.

I guess I got lucky... a month ago I went to the dealer to buy one and I picked it up last week. 21 700 2 deluxe. I live in southern Maine and bought it in NH , About a half hour away.

Lucky you! I would have driven an hour for my 21 700-4 deluxe. Well all is good. 2 months away and should be warmer by then.

Yup for sure... black flies too ! I called dealers from gotten conn. To Bangor Maine , and Rochester motor sports in nh found me one.

Yup, got the Honda roof and the hard coat flip up windshield . Well.. they are on the way. little disappointed though. I ordered them a month ago but the dealer didn’t tell me I had to pay in full first. they charged me 15% over cost. So $710.00 for both.. pretty good price ... I think

My dealer saying $1000- for the 4 person roof, 4500lb winch and a bed mat for when the back seats are down. Looking on line I found winch, mount, roof, bed mat and a set of 3 mirrors for $923-. So if they are installing the winch with that price I will do it. If not I'll be ordering all my accessories myself. I can install or customize anything. But prefer not to do the work if reasonably priced.
