Put deposit on 2021 700-4 Deluxe Brown on 3/25, expect delivery on 5/15. Factory ship date is 5/1. Dealer says factory to dealer is 4-5 days.
Have no order them yet but they gave me a price of $1700 for Honda split hard coated windshield, Warn winch 4500# w/ Honda mount kit, full hard top. Still looking around for assessors options.

Winch install with the Honda mount kit all looks very easy to me, probably two hours to install. If he wants to charge for install of assesories I’ll just do it myself.
Just a heads up, my 700-4 deluxe was over 2 weeks late from Honda to the dealer earlier this month.
My original dealer couldn't tell me when. Even though I put a deposit down in December!. So I switched dealer's. Looking to get my 700-4 deluxe in Brown is due in, in appx 4 weeks now.
Heard the same thing from the dealer closest to me. “Can’t get any, can’t order any, don’t know if they can get any all year, etc...”.
The dealer an hour away had a shipment schedule for the next 2 months that he was able to show me. He had one coming in a month that was what I was looking for. I put a deposit on it.
It arrived 2 weeks later than the scheduled delivery date.
Our dealer basically pulled out a listing of the units that have been on order with the ship date of 5/1. Machines that we spoken for were highlighted, fortunately there was the one we wanted available. Guess we'll wait and see what happens come May. The dealer did say that the factory had some lengthy shutdowns over C-19 this past year that they are trying to get caught up with. According to him, it's pretty much the case with all the rec vehicle businesses. Last fall I went to a dealer who had three units coming in from Honda, he said after those he had no idea when the next batch could arrive as it took 3 months to get those.

The dealer that was of no help used to be strictly Honda years ago, but now sells everything. That place has gone down hill.
I've also decided on doing my own winch. KFI mount and Badlands 5,000lb winch. Also thinking about a 2" lift and definitely a roof.

I walked into the local Honda dealer and they only had 1 utv in stock. It was a P1000. It was loaded with accessories for 25k. I asked the salesman if there was anything else. He looked at his list and said there was 1 700-4 deluxe not spoken for. I told him I'd take. He put my name on the list for that machine and said he would need a thousand dollar deposit in a couple days. I ended up getting pre-approved for a loan and emailed my pre-approval to the salesman. Once he had that, he stated he no longer needed the deposit. That was on March 13th and estimated arrival of the machine is April 10. All of the brands are sold out up here in Alaska right now. I believed I lucked out.

I had to put 500.00 down and wait 2 months for my 700-4 deluxe in Molasses Brown. I got it 2 weeks ago and our local shop has nothing in the showroom, not even a moped. I looked at the delivery sheet for the dealership and there is a name beside almost everything that is incoming
It's nuts out there trying to get a UTV. You would think they (Honda and their dealers) would start raising prices. Yeah, supply and demand. I looked last spring and fall and got a price for the 700-4 "out the door", then this spring and the price was the same. The dealers appear to only be able to sell at list price at the most despite the shortage of units on the lot. In my search this spring all units were selling at manufacturers list. Now I was happy with that considering there is a shortage of units on the lots. However, if these were car dealers everything going out the door would be $1000-2000 more than sticker. Though i have not been shopping cars or trucks. True there will be a time when supply catches up to demand and it will be a buyers market, but for now you really have to wonder why the dealers aren't asking more than list.
By the way, the dealers I looked at only had leftover snowmobiles, not a single UTV on the lots this spring. Ha, maybe i'll sell mine when i get it for $1000-2000 over my price. My luck, as soon as I take it off the lot it will be $1000-2000 less than what i paid.

An update on my 2021 Pioneer 700-4 situation. After a 4 month wait with the deposit down the dealership said they don't even know when they are getting one in! So I called another one a little farther away. They said one is coming in end of May in the Brown I wanted. Well 2 weeks ago I got a call and they tell me it's (Brown) not coming in till end of July! But has a Camo coming in end of June. So I said ok to the Camo. Don't care it's a little more $$$. But if it changes again for any reason after 7 months and 2 different dealers. I'm saying screw Honda I'm going to start trying to get a Polaris 4 seater!
I went to a dealership in mid March and they told me they had one 700-4 deluxe in Camo coming in May that was not spoken for. I put the $500 down on the spot. They told me it was shipping first week in May. It came I and I took possession on may 15. It went exactly as the dealer told me it would. I paid full sticker price but they did not charge any dealer set up fees. I was very happy with the transaction. Several other dealers were telling me it would take until August or later.
We wanted a Brown 700-4 D, we got a 700-4 D but in Camo. The dealer did not charge us for the upgrade. No setup fees, only list for the Brown 700-4D model plus tax. Delivered 5/20/21.
Additionally, it was list less 10% on the options. Full roof, split HC windshield, winch and winch kit, flares.
The unit runs nice and we currently have 70 miles on it. A few issues on delivery were; the oil drain plate on the skid plate under the engine oil drain was loose, all 4 bolts just finger tight; the rear piece of the skid plate was installed backwards; and numerous skid plate bolts were loose; tire pressures were all over the place at 8# to 16#; the battery was very low on charge and took 4 1/2hrs. on a 1.5 amp charger to top off.
