I just put on a new set tusk terrabite 10ply tires and rims.28x10x14, I ride on paved roads a lot with an annual trip to Tennessee to ride their great trails. What do you recommend for air pressure. What about tire alignment, slight toe in?

I run stock psi in the 12" terrabites I have, and they've been working good on the blacktop. My alignment is slightly toe in. Probably needs adjustment, but handles well.

I've got 3,000 miles on them so far. Rubber is probably +50%. I use them 50/50 dirt/street. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat. There perfect for my use, not the best mudder, but if you get in a jam just make em spin. So far so good.🙂
I've got a brand new set of stock wheels and Blackstones in my shop. I figure if I want to hit the mud, I'd use them. I also use 1 for a spare.

Ideal inflation pressure for street driving leaves a full tread footprint on the pavement. Find a patch of smooth blacktop, wet the tread of each tire, one-by-one and roll forward or backward far enough to leave a wet footprint.

Examine the footprint. If print is narrow (less than tread width) the tire is overinflated. Bleed air accordingly.

If print shows outer tread edge but no center the tire is underinflated. Slowly inflate a pound or two and try again.

Lower pressure will provide a softer ride but too low may risk tire separating from the wheel bead with instant deflation.

In the picture in post 1, those tires look like they have directional thread (can't be sure since I can't see to whole thread pattern) if so, they appear to be on backwards. If they are all like that you could fix it just by swapping left for right..... I could be wrong, I often am....

Thanks, I’ll try that. They came installed on the rims at 12 which seems about right. I’ll check the coverage on pavement.
12 psi is probably about right. I think mine were at 13 - 15 psi.

Put the terrabite 8ply on pioneer 520 and run pressure machine recommends. Seems good.

Had the Tusk Teribites on my 2011 RZR 800 & now have them on my 2021 Talon X2. 15# pressure all the way around seems to be right for me. About 90% time riding AZ dirt & rocks... 10% on asphalt.

I have about 100 miles on my new 10 ply Terrabites. Currently running 12 front 14 rear. I'm thinking that might come down a bit. I like the wet footprint idea from @HBarlow.

Just wondering how much clearance you have and do they rub at full shock compression?

I've got the same tires and ride mostly trails with some asphalt to get to them. I run 15 # all the way around. I left the alignment at factory. I've jumped it a little but the nose is heavy and it wants to land, front first so I don't do anything too Evil Knevil-ish...
All is good for me & no rubbing!

What is the diameter of the tire at 12 PSI?

It's a 30x10R-15 tire. As such a 0 psi or 30 psi, it's 30" until the tread starts wearing down.

I just received my Teribites 31x10x15 for my Honda Talon 1000X-4, was thinking either 14 or 15 PSI all around?
