I thinking about a 2 inch lift this coming summer on my 700. Can anybody give me any positives or negatives about doing it? Honda dealer was against it when I bought it.

cheap one is the spring spacer lift. ride feels a little softer afterwards. no cons i can think of iv been running the strong made shock relocator for 5 yrs and added the spring spacer last summer. still on stock axles no binding.

I agree,
While there are many options out there. The strong made with shock spacers is the best combo to not overstress your 700.
If I recommend anything on the factory shocks. It would be spring spacers before lift kits.

You can also look at Can-Am shocks and buy shock spacers for a set of P1000 shocks.

Following this thread, like the ride as is now, but think additional clearance + arched a arms would be really useful for the flooded fields I typically drive. Not bouncing down any trails
