Hello All,
My first post as I'm new to the forum and I'm also new to the SxS culture.
Looking at a 2015 P500 with 51 hrs and 495 miles on it. Don't know all the details on yet but it does have a hardtop, front and back windshield. Asking price is $7500. Not to many in the area.
Any idea to what its worth and mechanical issues to look for before buying?
Thanks for your help.

The 500's are holding a strong resale value and as you mentioned, there appears to be few of them out there for sale. For a 2015 which is paddle shift only, I say $7500 is a little high and would want to closer to $6500, but likely willing to spend 7K if the unit is extremely clean...

I agree with this as far as price.

I would have a look inside the air box to see how clean it is inside. If it looks a little muddy in there , I would avoid this unit. If you take it for a ride and the shifting seems a bit clunky , that is pretty normal. You also will notice a noisy rear differential wich is also common with these sxs's.

Welcome from the Great Lakes State.
I agree, 7,5k is a bit on the high side, probably priced that way cuz of the low milage and he thinks it’s worth that much. Do what @Chooglin said and if it all checks out, offer 6,2-6,3k to start that’s if you have cash and in your hand? Cash works wonders in negotiation . I wouldnt go more than 6,5k you can also tell him the reason for your offer price is that he has minimal accessories on it, age and for a few more K you can get an automatic with paddles . Good luck in your quest. ;)

It does have the OEM roof and windshield which are still expensive so that helps and the low miles help, I also agree to look at the air filter as it will tell many stories. If it all checks out to your liking low ball the price and hope you can settle in between, if you have cash in your pocket it will speak loudly.

I agree with all, but I bought my 2015 this past spring for $5500. Had 1000 miles and roof and windshield. Did have winch also.

I've got a yellow '15 with 1 actual mile on it, still in brand new condition. No way I'd consider taking any less than $7,500 for just the machine with no accessories on it. Actually had somebody ready to give me $7,700 the beginning of this year and I got cold feet and backed out of selling.

@Montecresto had a rig on here a few days ago in the for sale section. I think it was a 700. 2016 at what seemed like a fair price at $7000

Welcome from Central Florida. Last March I bought a new 2017 from the dealer for $7545. The roof, windshield, and rear window would push the price well over $8000. It all has a lot to do with what they are going for in your area. All that being said $7000 in this area would be high. IMHO
