P500 Viper 3500 winch

Anyone install a viper v2 3500 winch? I bought the kit from the club but having trouble mounting the winch to the winch mount. Instructions are not great. The kit I bought was all moto alliance. The motor is hitting the u-bolts that attach the mount to the frame on both sides. Holes all line up. I put the short u bolt on upper right side too.

On a What. 500 or 520? Pics of your situation would help alot. Thats why we ask so its not a figment of our imagination 🤣
I would assume you tried the search up top right corner for your issue first and came up empty handed? There are a ton of threads on P5 winch installs in there.

This is what I did to make it fit. The first pic is a p5 with another winch, the second is with a viper v2 3500 standard spool. I had to cut the u- bolts flush at the nuts. The mount is the same, moto alliance. I also had to grind a small area on the bumper. Angle of rope seems severe?

I wondered why you were having problems, but that was also with no pics. Now I see why, you went with the low mount.
