It's been a few months since we got the 1000-5 but figured I'd start a thread on it. It is a 2018 and had 1200 miles on it when we got it. Definitely a big upgrade over the 700 we had. I've added a few small accessories so far and have plans for more stuff later on. I use the pioneer a lot for work around the house but also want a good set up for trail riding.

Already installed when we purchased:

Honda roof
SuperATV flip up windshield
Switch panel on the dash with radio
Honda under dash storage
Under seat storage
Honda aluminum a arm guards-removed
Small light bar on front bumper-removed
Dome lights
Rear light pods
Second battery with isolator
Under hood snorkel
Warn winch

Items I have installed so far:

Replaced all rocker switches
XL Mudbusters
Pod lights on front
Vent extension kit from buyouownbeer
SuperATV offset a arms - rear
Fox shocks - rear
21" Traveller light bar
Super ATV a arms front and back
Fox QS3 shocks
Throttle max
Under seat bilge fan
Quick shield
28" ITP Blackwaters
RB3 Offroad wheel spacers front/rear

Some stuff I plan on adding:

Skid plate
New wheels
Door bushings
Seizmic windshield vents
Bed liner
RB3 Offroad grab bar
Hillbilly brake

Here's under the hood. All of this was done by previous owner. The Stinger relay is giving me trouble. This is the 2nd one that's been on the machine. Going to try a different brand.

what did you use to mount the pods in the front.
There is a factory bolt holding the plastic on. Take this bolt out and get a longer one. About 1" longer worked for me. I used the "U" shaped mount that came with the light. Stack some washers to fill the gap in the plastic under the mount and use the longer bolt to fasten it. Gotta give credit to @Remington for helping me out with this.
Also the light can't be very deep from front to back if you have a windshield.

Here's the new relay installed. Gonna get some more wire so I can run the power wire from the winch straight to the battery

Well the fox shocks got moved to the top of the list. Mrs. WT said to go ahead and get some so I ordered them Friday night. Now I'm trying to find some single rate springs. Been looking on Summit Racing but only see silver. I'm looking for some black ones. Any suggestions on where I can find some?

Suggest adding some insulation, heat shrink etc. on the barrels of those terminal lugs in close quarters . . . however unlikely, it'd only take a loose nut or impact moving something for a potential short.

Not a bad idea. And that's one reason why I'm gonna move the power wire for the winch. Got a lot of stuff going on in that small space

Looking good. I also have a 2018 Deluxe with a lot of the same add ons. As we don’t ride at night, haven’t added any extra lighting. Eibach does have springs in red. I’ve changed my fronts to 300# and the rears to 350#. On the easier trails I would probably prefer 275# front and 300# rear, but as we’re always challenging ourselves to more difficult trails, I don’t want to be bouncing so much in the real rocky areas

Thanks. I use the pioneer around the house a lot so I get a lot of use out of the lights at night. Did you start out with 275 front and 300 rear? Too bad I can't drive a few different pioneers with different shock set ups
